What is Kalimat?

Kalimat is a utility for the Mac that will allow you to write and/or insert Arabic text inside Drawing, illustration, and other applications.

Kalimat allows designers to use Arabic with all Macintosh illustration and photo retouching programs.

Users simply type and edit text in Kalimat and export it to non-Arabic applications, such as Adobe® PhotoShop® and Adobe Illustrator® and Macromedia Freehand™. The end result is a creation of stunning effects in Arabic, with no need for an Arabic operating system or language kit.

• Export multi-line paragraphs

• Use new palettes & measurement units to resize windows in order to match text boxes in the target application

• Import Arabic text from Macintosh or Windows platforms

• Cut, copy & paste Arabic text from the Windows Arabic System into Kalimat.
